Crash

Al Edenloff | Echo Press

Slippery road conditions may have contributed to a minor accident involving a car and a School District 206 bus. The crash occurred Thursday morning near the intersection of County Road 45 and Highway 27 in Alexandria. The bus was picking up transfer students from Parkers Prairie and transporting them to the day treatment program in Minnewaska. The driver of the bus, along with eight students – six from Alexandria and two from Parkers Prairie – and a bus paraprofessional, were on the bus when the crash occurred. Everyone was assessed at the scene and no injuries were reported, according to school officials.
