Jefferson High School environmental science teacher John Esbjornsson (right) looked over a plastic bag that was found in Lake L’Homme Dieu last Friday by one of his students, Josh Anderson (left). The students were at L’Homme Dieu Beach and two other locations searching for zebra mussels. They reportedly found an abundance of the exotic species.
