Local growers display their harvest, ready to be purchased at the Alexandria Farmers Market. As of June 22 the market’s summer hours expanded to include Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to noon and Thursdays from 3 to 6 p.m., as well as the regular hours of 9 a.m. to noon on Saturdays.
