Minnesota Twins legend Tony Oliva was on hand last Thursday to sign autographs for fans during Alexandria Beetles baseball. Oliva also threw out the first pitch in Thursday night’s game. Oliva was the only player in Major League Baseball history to win back-to-back batting titles in the first two years of a career. He had his jersey retired in 1991 and his picture still hangs in the Metrodome.
