Shelby Iverson had her legs taken out from under her by a sliding Detroit Lakes defender, causing her shot to slide just outside the goal in Thursday night's non-conference game with the Lakers. Iverson scored just seconds later to give Alexandria a 2-0 lead in the early going of the second period. The Cardinals went on to win 6-0. (Lori Mork, Echo Press)
