Ducks Unlimited’s Alexandria Area Chapter Chair Bill Januszewski (left) and Conservation Programs Manager Jon Schneider (right) presented a “Beyond the Call” award to landowners Craig and Julie Haseman (center) of Brandon for their cooperation and assistance in the Jennie Lake enhancement project. The Hasemans donated land to the Minnesota DNR necessary to install an electric pump station used to temporarily lower water levels in the shallow lake to enhance its aquatic ecology.
