Green emergent vegetation in Jennie Lake responded to the partial draw-down this year. The DNR plans to keep the lake low again next year to encourage more aquatic plant growth for wildlife habitat. The shallow lake is managed as a waterfowl refuge and water levels will be restored in 2014.
