Alex Abens of Grimes, Iowa caught this 18.75-inch, 3.75-lb. largemouth bass on July 26 while fishing from a dock on Lake L’Homme Dieu. He was using a Gary Yamamoto Senko in about five feet of water. Abens is 8 years old and will be in 3rd grade this fall. (Contributed)
