Alexandria’s Parker Bowden went into his wind-up during the VFW I’s game against Alexandria VFW II in the opening game of the District 5 playoffs. Bowden tossed two complete games in the tournament, winning 5-3 against his counterparts from Alexandria before taking down Willmar 3-2 through eight innings in the semifinals.
