The deck that collapsed at 1404 East Lake Geneva Road in Alexandria was located on the lake side of the home. At least 20 emergency response vehicles lined the street out front. Dozens of neighbors looked on as firefighters, paramedics and law enforcement loaded injured people into several ambulances.
