Girl Scouts from Troop 971 have purchased Christmas gifts for a family in need for the past two years. The gifts were given to the United Way for distribution. Troop leader Jan Beliveau stated, “It is so wonderful to be able to teach girls that giving is so much better than receiving and that we should work on giving every day in some way.” Pictured are (standing) Harilann Baas and Abbi Bouw, (kneeling) Abby Blank and Maddy Dudley.
