Patricia Peterson’s mother, Lois Peterson, wrote this $2 check out to the Traffic Violations Bureau of St. Paul in 1956 for a traffic violation she incurred while visitng there. Her husband operated a beer distribution company, Peterson Beverage Company, in Alexandria for 30 years until it was sold to H. Boyd Nelson, which is still in operation today.
