Minnesota health care spending increases, but at smallest rate in 10 years
Total health care spending in Minnesota increased 2.2 percent to $37.7 billion between 2009 and 2010, which is the slowest growth rate observed since 1997, according to a report released this week by the Health Economics Program at the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH).
