Alexandria Rotary honored at district conference
The Alexandria Rotary Club was recognized at the annual conference of Rotary District 5950, held April 13-14 in Bloomington. The Alexandria club received Awards of Excellence for Club Administration, recognizing the club’s 2011 bean bag tournament fundraiser, which benefited Rotary’s campaign to end polio; and Community Service, for a project to fund a picnic shelter at the Minnesota Lakes Maritime Museum.
