District 206 and Zion schools offer free summer meals
Alexandria Public Schools and Zion Lutheran School in Alexandria are participating in the federal Summer Food Service Program, which provides free breakfast and lunch to all children 18 and younger. The Summer Free Meals Program is designed to fill the gap in nutrition that may occur during the summer months.
