Editorial - Be sure to follow rules when removing weeds
With another lake season getting under way, some cabin owners may be thinking of tidying up their property and improving the swimming area by getting rid of the weeds near the shore. Not so fast. Removing aquatic plants may require a permit from the Department of Natural Resources (DNR).
