Training on new EPA rules offered to those in construction
As of August 1, 2011 any general contractor, roofing contractor, remodeling contractor or mobile home contractor wishing to pull a building permit will be required by the Department of Labor and Industry to prove they are a certified renovation firm through the EPA before pulling a permit on pre-1978 properties or as adopted by the city, county or township.
