Program aims to work with farmers on water quality
Governor Mark Dayton this week joined U.S. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lisa Jackson to sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) committing the state and federal government to develop a new program that will enhance Minnesota’s water quality by accelerating farmers’ voluntary adoption of on-farm conservation practices.
