Workshop to examine impact of substance abuse on families
Children entering foster care are often affected by parental substance abuse. Studies show that substance abuse by biological parents greatly impacts children’s behavior. Douglas County Social Services, in cooperation with the Minnesota Child Welfare Training System, will offer a free educational class for foster, adoptive and kinship caregivers and persons interested in providing foster care for children.
