City borders to expand near north shore of Lake Andrew area

Alexandria’s city limits will soon expand – by 439 acres, in fact. At its meeting Monday night, the Alexandria City Council approved three separate requests to annex property in Lake Mary Township adjacent to Cross Country Lane as requested by the landowner, Larry Zavadil.
