Jerry saves a life on Lake Miltona
In early October, a fisherman from Hillman heard the fish were biting in Alexandria. On Tuesday, October 14, that fisherman, Dan Meyer, drove for nearly three hours from the town of Hillman, which is about an hour east of Little Falls, to fish the waters of an Alexandria lake. Launching his 14-foot boat into Lake Miltona, Meyer was expecting to catch a few big ones. What he wasn’t expecting was the wind to pick up and a large wave to catch his boat, overturn it and tumble him into the frigid water.By: Celeste Beam, Alexandria Echo Press
