Robert J. “Gidagaa Biwesh” (Spotted Eagle) Azure Jr., age 13 months, of Redwood Falls, died Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 7, at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in White Earth, with the Rev. Walter Butor, OMI, and Spiritual Leader Joe Bush officiating. Interment took place at Calvary Cemetery in White Earth, with the Smokey Hill Drum Group and Ojibwe Singers assisting. Assisting the family with arrangements was the Chilson Chapel in Winsted.
