''Baby Killer' Yelled At Bart Stupak During Health Care Debate (VIDEO) ' -- "A Republican members of Congress apparently called Rep. Bart Stupak (D-Mich.) a "baby killer" near the end of the day-long House debate on health care Sunday night. House Republicans, in an effort to derail the bill, introduced a "motion to recommit" that would have reintroduced the abortion amendment cosponsored by Rep. Bart Stupak (D-Mich.) and Rep. Joseph Pitts (R-Pa.). In a dramatic gesture, the pro-life Stupak rose to speak against the amendment saying that it was nothing more than an effort to deprive 32 million Americans of health insurance. Democrats rose to applaud the much-maligned Stupak. "It's your bill!" shouted several chastened members from the GOP side, as the chamber descended into chaos. Once order was restored, a GOP member then shouted at Stupak: "Baby killer!" More chaos. "Who said that?!" demanded a Democrat. The shouter was not identified, but one reporter in the gallery thought it was Rep. John Campbell (R-Calif.). It was not, he told reporters in the Speaker's lobby as the vote on the amendment, which eventually failed by a vote of 199-232, was still going on. "It was on the floor, but it wasn't very far behind me," Campbell told reporters. "But it was definitely on the floor, but it wasn't me. I don't think it's appropriate at all." http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/03/21/baby-killer-yelled-at-bart-stupak_n_507718.html

'This Is What Change Looks Like' --"We proved that we are still a people capable of doing big things," the president said a short while later in televised remarks. "We proved that this government — a government of the people and by the people — still works for the people." “This isn’t radical reform, but it is major reform,” Obama continued. “This is what change looks like.” "http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/03/21/health-care-bill-passes-l_n_507714.html

Amos, that EO means NOTHING. It cannot override laws enacted by congress...it's an empty promise coming from a President who does not wish to see his daughters punished with a baby. Did you read the text of the EO? I just caught some commentary... http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/columns/OpEd-Contributor/William-Saunders-Democrats-EO-offer-shows-Obamacare-does-fund-abortion--88766547.html

Rep Peterson voted NO. He thinks that there are better ways to address healthcare reform than what the LIBERALS have thrown out there. He's right. This will cost far more than anyone can even imagine.

Oh, Not to mention the making of a deal with the pro-life democrats to accept an Executive Order concerning the abortion language. An order that can just as easily be undone by another Executive Order when president Obama needs to twist someone else's arm.

Health Care Reform (and student loans?) just passed using fuzzy math (double counting in CBO score and postponement of "Doc Fix") and empty promises. (Who here thinks the congress will, years from now, follow through on current promises of spending cuts? Who here would lay complete faith in the Senate that they will even go through with the Reconciliation process?) This will just go down as another entitlement program that will be bankrupt before the young people of today need to make use of it.

A very sad day in American politics. The federal noose just got a bit tighter. It's too bad that the moonbats don't realize it's around their necks as well. I think I am going to vomit.

Kerry if this health care reform bill was so good, BO and Co wouldn't of had to bribe, purchase, or threaten the moderate House Democrats in order to get their votes. If Obama-care is so great and BO is such an eloquent speaker, why was he unable to sell it to the majority of Americans? Perhaps it's because of the fact that he doesn't have a clue as to what's even in the bill. Maybe that's why he's had to, on numerous occations, correct previous statements he has made regarding the bill. In doing so, he appears to be either ignorant, or lying to the American people. Take your pick. Nobody is really sure how it will affect their lives. Do you think this doubt is going to improve an already struggling economy? It's not. Obama should be impeached. He is destroying our country.
