All right, here's a case. My cousin owns the home place in Todd county. For the last five or six years, he's rented the land to the same guy. All of those years, the renter has put in corn, fertilizing the land so he doesn't have to rotate the crop. Not ONE time has he gotten the corn out of the fields before November. Most times, it's sometime in February or March, this year. The guy rents land all over the place, and there's NO WAY that he can get all his crops in in the fall. Now, why should he be subsidised for overreaching?
