Wouldn't it be nice if the City council could wait a bit and be patient and the County could figure out a way to make a new "combined", more "efficient", police/sheriff station. Granted there has been a spending problem with the County in recent years (city has also done quite well spending ), as I, and others, will be chased away from our homes by real estate taxes upon retiring!!!!You have spent soooo much... why not spend another handful of millions on something slightly more needed and practical to do now, compared to some of the "wants" done in recent years.. And when you continue this "shopping" spree, make sure you hire out of town workers, so as not to keep the money at home, realizing it's the "law" to take low bid (low quality), do not mention the effect on that "local", "shop at home" economic thing!!
