My wife exhibits this same kind of horror when encountering fleas. Which, we've found out by experience, will be transfered to dogs from EVERY non-domesticated rabbit they come in contact with.

I enjoyed the article Dennis. The hysterical reaction, which you descibe is so true in a magnitude of situations. To often, the emotional reaction then prevails into concluding an unsubstantiated problem. Then the goverment gets involved, when good common sense, as in your article, easily solved the problem.
