Terrance T. DO not want to disillusionn you, Gee whiz! Some of us conservatives been cleaning up the waste some of the liberals been throwing out the window because it is their right, long before the spendaholics admitted there was a concern for the environment. Try Abe Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt who were consrvative republicans and a couple of early leaders in the National park development. Read your history and your party platforms before going off in a verbal attack on something you know very little about.

Did you speak out against your tax dollars going to support George Bush's Iraq war as much as you are worried about some folks getting something they don't deserve in this country ?

I know it's a stretch for some to understand that to conserve is to save. To be conservative is to use less. Why are conservation officers in charge of managing our environment and using less of it's resources foolishly? I've met some really cool conservationists, and dang, they are "green" and totally eco-friendly as any progressive, but they don't think that they should "share" their hard earned $$ with government that wants to liberally spread it to those who didn't earn it. Does that make them eco-green Conservatives? They think that some Liberals are hypocrites for demanding that other people live by "green" rules, but still drive their SUV's and limos, they definitely aren't very conservative...with their gas usage are they? Does that make them Anti-Green Liberals? They find irony in those that are Liberal advocates for Liberal causes, but don't practice themselves, what they preach liberally. Perhaps the definitions aren't all inclusive to those prejudicial stereotypes that get thrown at everyone. I know...it's easy to just listen to the two or three sentences of sound bite in the news. The talking heads in DC have all the answers and know everything about anything...and just how to spin it out.

I've seen rental houses on Norway lake that looked like someone emptied a septic pumper around them. I hope that's not the case around here!
