Very good tribute to your mom, we could hear the love and respect all of you felt for both your parents. We too missed their presence this year and felt a sadness, that will not go away for a long time. You guys had a wonderful family life, showed love for each other and respect for each ones specail place in the family. No, you aren't perfect, but darn close! We miss the shared times of cooking together with Lynn, the beautiful Christmas cards with the special messages. We do believe they are together now as they were here on this earth and so our hearts can sing for their joy. We were thinking of all of you this Christmas, and was glad you were able to keep your family traditions going. I myself think the best way to do Lutefisk it cook it up and pass it around and hope no one would sue me for trying to posioning them. I think I would stick to just doing swedish meatballs and the rest of the trimings. Hugs at the end of it all is the best, so we send our Christmas hug to all of you. God Bless all of you, continue to look upward and keep your happy outlook onlife. Fred and Kathy

We have it every year for X-mas. I love lutefisk, and it does not smell! We make ours in a glass cake pan and put it in the microwave. It wouldn't be a normal holiday without it.

Al - LOL!. What makes it funnier is the fact that you are probably telling the truth!

Tried bbq'ing it but it kept falling between the grills also found that it keeps cats out of our yard and our neighbors in the house with their windows closed.

Lutefisk is tradition in our family also. Sadly I am the only sibling that eats it. Yup, I also eat a little more each year. Got to keep the Scandinavian blood strong - you becha. This year the Lutefisk tasted pretty good. It doesn't have the strong smell it used to have. Grilled Lutefisk? Sounds interesting!

Baked? The only time I've enjoyed that stuff was when my roommate in vocational school boiled it in his pillowcase.
