How many post-graduate-level degrees do you have, Terrance? What's that? None? I should be surprised? Did you even get a high school diploma, or are you a GED graduate?

It's pretty sad to see the amount of ERRORS (yeah right ) that were made in reporting those supposed jobs saved or created. Just another example of kickin' the can down the road instead of picking it up. NO ONE wants to take responsibility for their "mistakes" so they make any of a multitude of EXCUSES that the public is supposed to buy. If you were the the direct BANKER of such a endeavor, would you accept the blatant misrepresentation of how your money was actually spent? I like what Obey said...if people don't know what Congressional District they LIVE IN, they are too dumb to be asking for money to stimulate it. If private companies run their business the way the government has handled it, there would be quite a few "employees" with pink slips. Those who opposed it KNEW it was going to be a flippin' disaster...does everyone actually think that every dollar CAN BE tracked and accounted for and used on legitimate stimulus projects? Giving people RAISES during a recession is not SAVING a job...it's just pandering to a whiney employee feeling the pinch. The job still exists and there might actually be 100 more people ready, willing and able to fill the position at the CURRENT payscale. http://www.opm.gov/flsa/oca/09tables/html/dcb_h.asp next time you are wondering what payscale is for government jobs...just find out the grade and step... I witnessed some more stimulus today. They are filling the crators and cracks in sections of HWY 71. How many of those jobs are permanent? I especially like seeing the dude changing a few signs or moving them further into the ditch. What is the purpose of moving the sign over 3 FEET?

I can't believe no one here has commented on the accounting used by this administration in determining the jobs created and jobs saved! Hey, just me typing this comment saved 11.7 jobs in West Central Minnesota.

Obama's economic plan is spin and wishing and milking it for is supporters as long as he can. Never let a crisis go to waste. Wishing only last so long. Wish in one hand and crap in the other and see which fills up first. I think you can pretty much count on the other for our country with the drunken sailor at the helm of our economy.

Dylan, it is nice that the dems are finally questioning obama on his political payback loopholes like the on in his derivatives "reform" bill. Does anyone in particular come to mind? Maybe huge obama supporter currency trader George Soros who has gamed the system for years.

On the MEND? LMAO! Obviously, this is from some desk jockey who is not in touch with REALITY. Problem with that Hope and Change thing...people eventually run out of HOPE when they don't see any CHANGE. It's really sad that people who came to the "land of opportunity" have to rely on people from their former country to help them financially. I can understand if they want to head on back Even if things turn around and the economy makes a rebound, the rough patch has taught all struggling companies how to pare back and get more production with fewer workers. Does anyone think that they will magically rehire to fill positions that they have figured out how to cut?
