Another classic example of how goverment formed boards can run up expenses and fold like a lawn chair and pass the burden onto the tax payers. or in this case the people who never wanted the service forced upon them to begin with. They should be held to account, how much of that 3+ million dollars was paying for those CLSRD members personal expenses etc. the board members of the CLSRD should have a responsibility for some of the expense not just walk away, just like the meetings when the public voiced its opposition,, its time for pitch forks and torchs!!!

What ever the outcome, clrsd was a bad deal. Wait till you get your cap and tax statement.

One of the most important points that the concerned citizens in Leaf Valley Township have which I don't think was fully addressed in the article is that we were never a part of the CLRSD. None of our properties would have been hooked up to the sewer and if the the CLRSD would have gone through my understanding is that we would have paid a lot less than what we are now being asked to paid.
