It is nice to see the place going independent, kicking the trend of the homogenization of America through franchises. I commend your move. I try to avoid chain restaurants, and now that the place is not a part of a chain anymore, I'll have to try it out sometime.

Well I was about 6 months old back then, so I really wouldn't know!! Whiskey Creek was a great place to eat, and although I have heard from more then one person, they could have purchased a whole cow for the cost of their meal, I didn't think it was too expensive!!!!! The new place is, higher though and that could hurt them!!

Seriously, what do you expect to pay for an entree these days? It is not 1985 anymore.

Well I have been there to the "New" place, and it's sad to say, but Whiskey Creek was less Expensive! That's right! It is more Expensive then Whiskey Creek was!!! Whiskey at least at the options of having a good steak that wasn't too spendy! The new place does not! Infact there was really nothing below $12, some chicken, I think and a tinly little 6 oz steak! The Walleye was like $20!!!

I think a new name would help the business.. PEANUT HAVEN would be a suggeston. The place is peanut shells all over the place. Not very becomong for an eating place. PHEW !

First the name "Whiskey Creek" turned me off as well as others. The new name will not be much better. Can you not find an more appealing name for our small town eating place. In this troubled times, we need simplicity.

I hope they add a fun/affordable happy hr like D. Micheals and Bennigans have. We would go way more often. We only went to WC occasionally, due to the high tab. Food and drinks were always hit or miss IMO.

When you switched from Country Kitchen to Whiskey Creek the service improved greatly. My husband and I enjoyed the food, and I am sure we will enjoy the new menu. Congrats!!!

Congratulations to Kevin and Connie! I always have had great service and great food at Whiskey Creek. I am excited to see the changes you are making. I am sure they will make your resturant even better. Every time I dined at Whiskey Creek it was packed full of happy patrons. Good Luck!!
