"if a man is contemptable of others " When I first started reading this I thought you were talking about Bush. Every President appoints people with weird ideas. Who was the Attorney General Bush appointed who ordered a naked STATUE covered because naked breasts offended him? C'mon!

What does Mayo know about what the public needs or wants. The better get on the band wagon and go for a one payer system or else Obama will put them in his gun sights like everyone else who doesn't agree with him.

Quote "The Mayo Clinic, offering arguably the finest health care in the world, has come out against the current healthcare bill. " If you had read it. It said the "current health care bill". I think everyone believes health care needs reform it's just how to go about it that is in question.

The Mayo Clinic is NOT against reform! "Mayo Clinic believes that American health care urgently needs reform to ensure the future of quality patient care. Recognizing that widespread consensus and collaboration will be essential to successful health care reform, Mayo Clinic formed its Health Policy Center and hosted an inaugural symposium in May 2006. "http://www.mayoclinic.org/healthpolicycenter/recommendations.html Mayo's reaction to President Obama's September speech: Mayo Clinic Reaction to President Obama’s Speech – September 9 Mayo Clinic strongly supports President Obama’s call for health insurance reform and health care delivery reform, and agrees with the President’s position that the status quo is not acceptable. We believe that a bipartisan, collaborative approach is essential to achieving significant, patient-centered health care reform. "Mayo Clinic and the many organizations and individuals working with us in the Mayo Clinic Health Policy Center are strongly in favor of reform of both health care delivery and health insurance. True health care reform is getting better results for the money spent. Better results for money spent is what we meant by high value health care: better outcomes, safer care, better service and at lower costs over time. And this will translate to better access to medical services for all Americans. We agree with President Obama’s focus on insuring all Americans and reforming the health care payment reform." http://healthpolicyblog.mayoclinic.org/2009/09/09/mayo-clinic-reaction-to-president-obamas-speech-september-9/
