Kay, do you honestly believe that only posters who are "on the left" are calling people names on here? As I read the posts, there are posters on both sides using profanity, acronyms for vulgar language, personal attacks, name-calling, and general uncivil behavior. Saying it is only those on the left is as completely rediculous as people who are just as guilty, blaming others for threads being shut down. I have to wonder if some people who post on here are literally schizophrenic to be able to post things directed at others when they, if in their right mind, should know full well that they are guilty of the same. So, we should all agree that there are a few posters, on each side of the political spectrum, who have chosen to post comments that they should know full well are not appropriate and they are obviously unwilling to change. No one can honestly say that one side is guilty and the other is not.

Kerry, Al is not the moderator and mike j is right that Al doesn't read this garbage. Usually, I don't get very involved but sometimes a person just gets sick and tired of it all and has to call a spade a spade just to stay sane. You have been there and have done that yourself a time or two. :-)

Now, Now, Kay. Keep in mind , there is an expiration date on their comments and none on the right. Dlyan's is limited by her dimentia and the fact she doesn't read her own posts. rush's are limited by the surgar high he gets from the cookies doled out by his current "nanny" that he is trying to replace by Uncle Sugar.

HMMM and yet, Rush can refer to a woman as a "stupid gash" and NOT a single word is said from the Queen? In FACT, she blathered ON and on how the righties are SOOO mean... Oh yeah, I forgot that DOUBLE STANDARD...it's ok if the leftie moonbats call people names here. Whatever.

FYI, they aren't wading through these things. No respectable "editor" could ignore the filth on here. conclusion, they don't read it and dylan and rush capitalize on that fact as they dump their loads. Neither of these whiners can deal with reality, so they need to fix blame on any/everyone who shines a light on their flawed thinking.

LL L, I didn't know they paid someone to wade through these. My comment regarding self-policing was in respect for Al, who recently suffered a loss. It is up to each individual poster what they decide to post. It was just a thought. I know weekends can be a free-for-all for some people on these pages, seeing if they can post enough insults, personal attacks, and even profanity to get a thread shut down. I was just hoping, out of respect for the person in charge of these pages, this weekend would be different and the posters would choose to be civil to one another. I know if I had just lost a family member, I wouldn't want to have to babysit adults on a comment section open to anyone who wants to read it, regardless of age. I think I would want to devote all my time and energy to my family obligations.

If there is one thing I know for certain, Gretchen has spent all of her time making Al's life easier around here. Again STUFF IT GRETCHEN, Al doesn't have to read this crap. They pay people to wade through the feces on this comment section occassionally.
