Kerry, refresh my memory. Tell me where anyone on the right has accused me of incest? being a nazi? called me a liar(daily)? a bigot ? etc. The queen and slug have chosen the rules they wish to play by. They reap what they sow.

Well put, Kerry. Unless of course, someone else did it first.

Mike, you know full well that I have criticized posters on both sides. Your memory is selective. Like your criticism. Can you honestly say that you have ever criticized anyone from the right for posting personal attacks, using profanity, etc??? I know you don't like to answer direct questions, so I won't expect an answer to that one.

So, if we want to make this comment section civil, what needs to be done? Number one: All posters need to own their behavior. The comments you make are no one's fault except your own. This includes EVERYONE. 2) Discuss issues, not posters. Especially personal lives. It is not appropriate to reveal personal information about others on here for the purpose of bullying. That's what it is! This idea that "I know where you live, who you are married to, where you work" serves NO purpose other than to intimidate. 3) Stop the personal attacks, profanity, and name-calling. Using one's religious beliefs, or lack thereof, to insult and attack has no place in a civil discussion. Using acronyms for vulgar phrases or insults, or using periods between the letters so your inappropriate term will not be filtered is just wrong. Calling others names, and there are people on both sides guilty of this, is wrong. PERIOD! 3) Stop the unending posting of copy-and-pasted-1000-word articles!!! Post a link and a BRIEF description. If people want to read it, they will. It is also against the terms and conditions. Now I know that there are posters on here who want to make this forum a cesspool. There are some who want to see the Echopress fail. There are some who want to get threads shut down. It is their selfish and inappropriate actions that have ruined it for the countless others who read the EP online. All who post here (I believe) are adults. Isn't it time for all of us to be responsible for our own behaviors?

But, Kerry. I am protesting, but I feel no need to announce my indignation on the thread. My protests are getting results, where it matters.

Only thing missing is Kerry's criticism of the left, simply pointing out that others do it also.

I see silence of a similar nature coming from you, Mike. I don't see you protesting inappropriate comments. I don't see others on the right protesting your personal attacks either. You are no better.

Dylan protests the comments from "adults" as humorous, Yet, those comments were about her comments that show her as the bitter, vindictive old woman that she is. She practices the behavior she condems. She remains silent about the filth spewing from rush, her ally in hypocrisy. See a pattern here?

I thought Al was the moderator. Who knew? My mistake. Still, is it so bad for everyone to own their own behavior and show some civility? This comment section is public and for the civil discussion of issues. It isn't a sandbox or playground.
