But, if the EP were to initiate a no-strike policy, it would sure clean things up in a hurry. I know I would hesitate before posting anything out of line. I know I have been guilty, but not for a long time. I know I can control my behavior. I would think that, with some sort of punitive measure, others could do the same. I think it would be harder to judge the merit of an attack than to just say, here's the line - cross it and you are out.

And since my idea of an attack or insult is different than yours, we observe yours. Where I draw the line seems to differ. Simply, questioning a comment is deemed an attack by her highness, an attack worthy of being called a liar or bigot, etc. A different concept of government's role generates charges of hating ALL ______'s. (victim of the week). We have a president who ran on transparency, no earmarks, no lobbyists, etc. The absence of follow through on these promises doesn't merit mention, yet we continue to hear about the youth of the former adminisitration.

Yes and No, Kerry, I have been known to lose it occassionally and get a wee bit vulgar myself ( and so have you) so we really can't be the judge and jury. It is one thing to get riled and another to do it for the fun and shock appeal. It may be vulgar no matter what the excuse but one at least has some merit while the other is just to stir up trouble, hate and discontent.

I would be all for the EP cancelling the access/account for posters who continue to use these pages as a venue for personal attacks, vulgarity, profanity, etc... And, if they return, and continue...cancel those accounts. Play by the rules or don't play at all. And own your actions. No one forces anyone else to write inappropriate comments.

LL L - I agree. Anyone who is unable to carry on a civil conversation should be banned. This includes people from both sides of the political aisle who choose to continuously use profanity, launch personal attacks, bring up personal information, and insult other posters. Do you agree?

Selective words, Mike. Are you saying that no one on the right is guilty of personal attacks on others? I can admit that there are people on the right and left who are guilty of name-calling, using vulgar language, revealing personal information for the purpose of intimidation, insulting others, bringing up family members, work locations, religion, etc... Can you admit it as well? (Same expectation on the answer btw...I see that is the best course of action, as it has proven true in the past - as recently as my last direct question to you)

Sure, Kerry, that sounds good. So we are having a decent discussion yesterday only to be rudely interrupted by a troll that posted pages of garbage only to be joined by another troll. The TROLLS don't give a dang and will never change. They need to REMOVED so that the rest of the people can take a deep breath and start over.
