Hasn't the policy around here always been the easiest route, just close down the whole comment section. Problem solved.

I have been advised by EP, that I crossed the line. So, by their standard I must have attacked personally. Or, maybe the noisy wheel got the grease. Looking at a global view, how many conflicts have been resolved (permanently) by KUMBYA and negotiation vs the ones that did whatever it takes. If one can't handle the weapons they chose, perhaps an admission of defeat is called for. Haven't seen that, yet.

I believe it is time for the Echo Press to draw a line in the sand and stick to it. How many times have the editors written things in editorials about staying on topic, not attacking others or guessing identities or what have you? If there is no enforcement there will be no compliance among those who believe they are above it all. That is just a simple fact. Banning participants is not all that easy. It seems anyone can reinvent themselves as someone else, complete with a new moniker and location, and continue on a campaign of shock and awe against those whom that person views as the enemy. The only way Echo Press and Forum Communications can actually do something is through legal channels. File a restraining order with the Court and through the State Attorney if necessary. The sorts of lies and insults and names that have been thrown at me and Kay in particular have no place here. If anyone thinks for one moment that either of us - or anyone else - will not fight back they are all wet. So where is that line in the sand, Echo Press?

I know one when I see one. To me , incest is an attack. liar (unfounded) is an attack. Every "aka" starts out a post with an allegation of being a LIAR. That "aka" theory allows her to attribute any statement by anyone to her current target. So, world peace is unattainable. Appeasment doesn't work. never has, never will.

I would agree with LL L on that one too.

So, mike. 1. Will you admit there are posters on the right who are guilty of posting personal attacks? 2. What is your definition of a personal attack. 3. Do you admit to being guilty of personal attacks?

I don't have any problem with admitting it, Kerry. However, I do believe that the total filth posted by Rush is the worst that I have ever seen around here on a continual basis! It doesn't matter what the devil "side" he is on.

Oh there are definitely people on both sides who are guilty of wrongdoing.

Simply , removing an objectionable post is their "dicipline" , and since no one goes back a few pages, no one know it's gone. One poster just lays on a bunch of garbage to bury their crap or waits until the thread gets old and off the front page. Then, expresses new indignation , with a qualifier "on this thread" to show how someone else started it. As said, we are ADULTS, and as such, we are not stupid.

Thanks, Amos. But I fear it's falling on deaf ears. I can't even get people to admit that there are people on both sides who are guilty of wrongdoing.
