http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2009/sep/16/obama-wh-collects-web-users-data/?page=2 interesting stretch of the Presidential Records reach. "According to the law, the term "presidential records" means documentary materials "created or received by the president, his immediate staff or a unit or individual of the Executive Office of the President whose function is to advise and assist the president, in the course of conducting activities which relate to or have an effect upon the carrying out of the constitutional, statutory, or other official or ceremonial duties of the President." "It includes any documentary materials relating to the political activities of the president or members of his staff, but only if such activities relate to or have a direct effect upon the carrying out of constitutional, statutory, or other official or ceremonial duties of the President," the law says." Facebook, twitter and other third party websites to be crawled and information archived...wow, Those sites are not part of the government, are they?

Yeah, the whole ACORN thing confuses me as well relating to their ability to basically campaign for the Democrats even though they are publicly funded. How can that be? Isn't it kinda like paying for your wife's divorce attorney to counsel her on how to best strip you of everything you own??

I am more apt to believe that the ACORN worker is indeed an idiot and not capable of pulling off a "joke" on the team shooting the 60 minutes - style expose'. The worker's hubby is alive and well and holds a restraining order against the woman claiming on camera to have killed him. So far, every time ACORN releases a statement, another video comes out...I wonder which office in which city gets outed next. I don't understand how an organization that enjoys a 501c(3) exemption status is able to be so involved with campaign support and endorsements for political parties. Taxpayers of this country are(were, Senate voted to strip funding the other day) sending their hard earned $$ to be doled out to a group that uses those funds to endorse and support a political party...using their connection and community organization position to actively campaign for their political cause.

Another Video. LMAO! San Bernadino this time. I wonder how many more offices are going to get stung by a couple of rightwing activists. Last fall, it was all about voter registration fraud, now it's about providing advice on how to defraud the government and avoid the law. Way to go ACORN...collecting funds from the taxpayers, via the Government, to teach people how to defraud and commit crime. Counsel people on how to avoid paying taxes and launder funds. Don't the taxpayers fund the enforcement of laws too? See the circus yet? One hand pushes money towards an organization who helps create the 'show' and the other hand spends money to try and stop it. Legislation, law enforcement and public prosecution and/or public defense, at least there is job security in government. Taxpayers pay to help create a criminal, and then pay to try and stop a criminal.

C J S, In spite of "other poster's" belief, repeating things over and over do not make them come true. Sorry. Affirmations can trick your brain into believing something, but not others.
