Dennis grew up in the same neighborhood as I did and was in my brother and sister's grade. He was always so nice to everybody. If you needed a good laugh he made sure you got what you needed, but he never did so at the expense of others. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to everybody affected by this tragic loss.

I'm so shocked to hear about Dennis! Dennis was always such a joker with me and others. Always joking around making others laugh. I'll always remember how he would say my name when he would see me in school. It always made me smile. My thoughts and Prayers are with his family! Erica Bakke-Schroeder

What absolute shock and heartbreak to read this. I had the priviledge to grow up with Dennis from elementary school through graduation. He always had such a great sense of humor, made people feel good to be around him, and had those crazy blonde curls. He will be dearly missed and remembered.

This just breaks my heart ... I just saw you on Saturday, man! How can life be so cruel, sometimes? Missing you ...

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of our classmate Dennis. It is a very sad day.
