u go linda, She is right folks, dont vote yes for this crap on the arts. If im not mistaken doesnt some of the large corporations like 3-m, Honeywell, Kellogg,Walmart donate a huge amount of money to the arts here in Minnesota? I dont think the people of minnesota who are taxed to death need to be taxed for something so trivial as The Arts. Politics, who needs it!!!

Come on fellow citizens, open your eyes!! Are you missing the "ARTS" tack-on?? How are natural resources and the arts connected?? And how much of this money do you think will go to nature (as opposed to the 'arts')once the libbies in St. Paul get control of it? Won't the old Walker and new Gutherie need renovating? Come on, VOTE NO and donate to a group (Ducks Unlimited, Pheasants Forever, etc.)you know will use your money as you intend.

Yes, where does that lottery money go? I admit I haven't read much about this ammendment, but will do so before voting. Of course the environment is important to all of us in one way or another, but I find it very interesting that they are combining the environment with "the arts". Pretty crafty I'd say. As for me, I would tend to support enviromental causes. If this was presented as support for "the arts" only, I would not support it (and I think they know that). A constitutional ammendment is a bit wacky too.

I am confused with the statement regarding this has not a hunting ammendement when it the hunters and fishermen are the primary source of funding the DNR here in this wonderful State of Minnesota. Thank you fellow hunters for making this state have the natural resources it has! The Viking Sportsmen is about the only worth while and real NON PROFIT organization for ducks, wild life preserves, pheasants, deer etc... with out packing pockets of top end officers. Thank you members and supporters of the Viking Sportsmen.

Maybe they could start up a lottery and convince the public that the proceeds would go for DNR. Cute little duckies and foxes could convince voters.

I hope this passes who needs legislative oversite? Besides I?ve got a list of projects I want to get on next years ballot; toupees for the bald eagles, headlights on deer so we can see them better at night, turn signals on ducks so I?ll know where to aim, poop bags on cows so when walking through the pasture I won?t step in it, and wooden back scratcher that feel like finger nails.
