Bob B -- Your comment sounds absolutely heavenly. I hope to take up your suggestion one day. I love the prairie. "We celebrated the renewal of spring life for the last two days. Too stand on the prairie without moving for a period of time and observing the new life is a total spiritual experience. Stopping to (smell the roses) works for me. Some of you should try it some time. Bob B Rosholt, SD 06/09/2008 4:26 PM Report Violation "

Patty W -- Believe it or not, I think I still have a wooden "nickel" with the Centennial info. stamped on it. Yes, we all had bonnets and prairie dresses to wear too. Found memories. My Mom was on the float too with me along with several other local women.

I see larry l is back--good! Hate to see people leave. You know what-I went to school and learned to spell etc. properly and was an honor roll student for 4 years running. I did my time and I apologize to no-one for the way I choose to express myself on my own time. Guess what, I am not in school, I am not being graded on this and I can't see any reason that I have to concern myself with impressing anybody anymore. Fact is that I write any blasted way that suits me. Everyone should do the same. This is a place to share views and ideas and not be graded on grammar and spelling. For crying out loud why ruin it for everybody.
