Once, I read a story in a really old Saturday Evening Post. It was about how all the 'superpowers' in the world got together and agreed to melt down all the WMD's into a huge coin. Whenever there was some kind of conflict, this huge coin was flipped by means of eletcromagnets. And the decision was made on the basis of what came up, heads or tails. I don't know who wrote that story, but I STILL think it ain't a bad idea.
