I always look forward to the Lake Carlos 4th of July boat parade but in recent years it has really gone downhill. Still plenty of boats but everyone just hangs out in the bay by the Carlos-Darling bridge. It's supposed to be a parade...that means you follow each other and "march" around the shoreline! We did and just a couple followed. Remember when they would actually go all the way down the East side of Carlos???? Maybe we need to teach the out-of-towners HOW to be in a parade.
