Twelfth Stuff-A-Truck Food Drive a success
This year’s 12th annual Stuff-A-Truck Food Drive for the Outreach Food Shelf of Douglas County was extremely successful thanks to the parents and students of School District 206.
This year’s 12th annual Stuff-A-Truck Food Drive for the Outreach Food Shelf of Douglas County was extremely successful thanks to the parents and students of School District 206, as well as the customers and friends of Pete’s County Market. The totals are as follows:
• 18 pallets of food collected – 18,000 pounds.
• 252 Random Bags of Kindness (containing personal hygiene items).
• $500 cash collected.
There are 24 County Market stores that participate in the food drive. Through the first 11 years of the food drive, 1,385,215 pounds of food have been collected and $195,205 in cash has been donated.
