Winter Dance Club to host orchestra

The Winter Dance Club will host The Jerry O’Hagan Orchestra on Sunday, December 9 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Lakeside Ballroom in Glenwood.

The Winter Dance Club will host The Jerry O’Hagan Orchestra on Sunday, December 9 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Lakeside Ballroom in Glenwood. The club has members from more than 40 communities. The 11-piece orchestra from the metro area plays music of the Big Band era.

Both longtime and beginning ballroom dancers from dozens of central Minnesota communities will gather to enjoy the music and health benefits of dancing. Everyone is welcome.

Admission is $10 per person. Admission for dancers 17 to 30 years old is $5 per person. Passes are available for a full season of dances. There is a dress code of no jeans.

All dance expenses are funded by the membership dues. Volunteers manage club activities.
