Douglas County Historical Society to host bake sale and open house

There will be live demonstrations and samples of lefse and krumkake, with some for sale, as well.

The Douglas County Historical Society is having its annual bake sale and open house on Friday, December 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be live demonstrations and samples of lefse and krumkake, with some for sale, as well.

Ethnic baked items for sale include kolaches, rosettes, spritz, Scandinavian almond cakes, ready to bake apple pies and a variety of Christmas cookies and breads. Enjoy cookies and coffee in the dining room and tour the decorated house.
