United Way of Douglas and Pope Counties seeks coat donations
United Way of Douglas and Pope Counties has distributed more than 700 coats through the coat distribution program since October, but the need continues to increase as winter grows near.
As the holidays approach, they bring the brisk temps of a cool Minnesota winter. United Way of Douglas and Pope Counties has distributed more than 700 coats through the coat distribution program since October, but the need continues to increase as winter grows near.
Of particular need are men’s jackets, sizes large, XL, 1X, 2X+; women’s jackets, sizes XL, 1X, 2X+; and children’s coats, snow pants, boots and waterproof gloves.
Share the gift of warmth this season by donating gently used items. Donations can be dropped off at 2504 Aga Drive, Alexandria.
