Pedestrian injured in Broadway accident

An Alexandria woman was taken to the Douglas County Hospital for evaluation following a pedestrian accident Monday afternoon.

Lillian Schuneman was in the crosswalk of Broadway and 6th Avenue at about 2 p.m. when a Chevrolet Silverado driven by Stephen Crane of Alexandria ran over her foot, according to the Alexandria Police Department.

Schuneman was transported to the hospital by North Ambulance.
