Blizzard hockey: Skinner named NA3HL 1st Star of the Week
Alexandria Blizzard forward Garrett Skinner, 19, was named the North American 3 Hockey League’s (NA3HL) 1st Star of the Week for the week ending November 18.
Skinner, an Alexandria native, recorded eight points (2 goals, 6 assists) and was a +8 in three games over the week for the Blizzard, who had three West Division wins.
Skinner is tied for the Blizzard scoring lead so far this season with 19 points to date.
The three stars of the week is an award given each week of the regular season to the top performing players in the NA3HL as nominated by their head coaches.
