Former Alexandrian logs more than 1 million accident-free miles

Henry “Hank” Faber, formerly of Alexandria, was inducted into Landstar Inway Trucking’s Roadstar Hall of Fame in July 2012 at the Business Capacity Owners (BCO) all-star weekend in Orlando, Florida for driving 1,877,738 miles accident-free.

Henry “Hank” Faber, formerly of Alexandria, was inducted into Landstar Inway Trucking’s Roadstar Hall of Fame in July 2012 at the Business Capacity Owners (BCO) all-star weekend in Orlando, Florida for driving 1,877,738 miles accident-free. Roadstar is one of Landstar’s highest honors for BCO.

Faber was honored October 2005 as a Million Miler. He was also awarded a 17-year safe driving award on October 11. Faber has been leased to Landstar Inway Trucking in Rockford, Illinois since 1995.

The national safety council also awarded Faber with a safe driver award of honor in 2012 for his commitment to safety.

Faber is a 1965 graduate of Jefferson High School and a graduate of AVTI (ATCC) in 1967 and 1985. He is best known for the Hank and the Embers band that toured the upper Midwest for more than 20 years.

Faber and his family moved to Fishers, Indiana in 1986.
