Discovery 9th graders to present Season of Light

Ninth graders of Discovery Middle School in Alexandria will present Season of Light, a winter fairy tale written by Steph DeFerie, at 7:30 p.m. on November 30 and December 1 at the Discovery Middle School auditorium. Admission is free.

This family friendly production features elaborate costumes, singing, dancing, puppetry, drama, romance and comedy.

Following the adventures of a young girl who is despised and rejected by the people of her village because she made a mistake, the play is about accepting yourself and others and finding peace with the inevitability of change.
